Cathy is leading us in getting as much done as we can. However, she did me a big favor and let me take a break this afternoon. I'm sure she could tell I was getting a bit stressed and not helping spread much Christmas cheer. I did a couple of easy errands then come home, spent some time with our cats, read my devotional and watched something inspirational on Netflix. By the time Cathy and TJ came home from shopping I was in a better mood.
I encourage you to do whatever you need this week to be prepared to spread true Christmas joy. The gifts, cards, decorations, cookies, candies, and meals are important parts to be sure. You know how I feel about food! But the most important thing is us having grateful hearts for the coming of Jesus and joy in sharing love with others. (If you are getting this you are loved by someone--me!)
We will all be busy these next few days, but I wanted to make sure you know you are appreciated for what you mean to our church, to our family, and to me.
Discipleship thought- Be open to receiving and spreading true Christmas cheer, the love of our Savior who came to be with us, Jesus.
If I don't see you this week, may you have a Merry and Blessed Christmas!
