As we concluded our series on the decision-making process of the Jerusalem Council process described in Acts 15, Pastor Ed reminded us to communicate God's wisdom with understanding and love. Like the leaders in Jerusalem, we should not give domination to one group but look at the Fruitful Congregation process as a chance to work together in Christ to build God's kingdom here. The focus should be on God's work within the whole church. Pastor Ed challenged all of us to work for reconciliation and unity--and to shape our words so that we communicate God's wisdom with understanding and love.

When its members read it, they rejoiced at the exhortation. Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers.
