Cathy Wesolek challenged us to expand the ways we pray in support of the church family--the pray continually: to always be open to the Holy Spirit's nudge to pray and willing to respond. We can use the building to guide our prayers (here's Dr. Frank Beard's guide). We can pray for the people of our church family--not just in times of crisis or challenge, but anytime. Prayer builds relationships. We can pray for the ministries of the church (go to the church calendar to find out what you can pray for today). We are especially called to pray for the future of the church--for vision, for mission, and for the people in our community God is calling us to invite to meet our church family and become a part of it.
