Guest Speaker Jon Andrews spoke about his work with Tiny Hands, an international organization that helps young boys living on the street and intercepts young girls being sold into sex slavery in Nepal. Jon connected Psalm 10 to the situation of traffickers who lie in wait and prey upon the poor and weak. He talked about how Tiny Hands trains Nepali Christians to work at border crossing stations and in Christian group homes for rescued children. Jon's work with the organization is telling the story of these children to people in the United States and raising money for the work of Tiny Hands. He encouraged us all to pray about how we might support the work of this ministry. (Read more about Jon's call to work with Tiny Hands in our March newsletter)
[The wicked] lie in ambush so they can seize those who suffer! They seize the poor, all right, dragging them off in their nets. Their helpless victims are crushed; they collapse, falling prey to the strength of the wicked.
Psalm 10:9b-10 (CEB)
